What does Waitery's AI menu import do?
It turns the menu you already have into a Waitery menu. Upload a PDF, up to 10 photos or a link, and the AI reads sections, items, prices, sizes, options and dietary tags into a draft. You review every item next to the original page, then import. Menus are created switched off, so guests see nothing until you activate them.
Can the assistant get my numbers wrong?
The AI never does the maths. It asks your own Waitery reports for the figures, and Waitery checks every number in the answer against those reports. If an answer cannot be trusted, you get the report tables instead of a guess.
How much does Waitery AI cost?
AI menu import and the owner assistant are included in the $14 per location plan, with 300 assistant questions per restaurant each month. The allowance resets on the first of the month.
Does the assistant work in French?
Yes. Ask in English or French and the assistant answers in the same language. Imported menus can be translated to French in one step.
What data does the AI see?
Only what a question needs. Staff names are replaced with codes before anything leaves Waitery, and guest names and contact details are never sent. We only use AI providers that do not keep or train on your data, and menu uploads are deleted after 30 days.
