What payment methods can guests use?

Are card details stored on Waitery servers?
No. Card data is tokenized at the point of payment and never touches Waitery servers — not on the handheld, not on QR checkout. Waitery systems only ever see a secure token, never the card number.
How do tips work?
A tip prompt appears at payment — preset percentages or a custom amount — on both the server handheld and the guest's own phone for QR orders. Tips are tracked per payment and roll up automatically into end-of-day reconciliation in the owner dashboard.
