Tickets keep printing โ even when screens sleep.
An always-on print listener backs your kitchen display, so every order lands on paper through shift changes, reboots, and power blips โ standard ESC/POS hardware, configured once.
ESC/POS in, the right ticket out.
Waitery drives standard receipt printers over the connection your kitchen already has, routes each item to the station that makes it, and pairs the kitchen display with print as a redundant backup.
Waitery speaks ESC/POS โ the receipt-printer command standard used across the industry. Plug in a compatible thermal printer and it prints clean, fast tickets with no proprietary middleware.
Connect the printer however your kitchen is wired. Wired Ethernet for a rock-solid line, Wi-Fi for flexible placement, or Bluetooth for a station that moves โ all configured per location.
Send the right items to the right printer. Hot line, cold station, bar, and expo each get their own tickets, so every section only sees what it actually needs to make.
The kitchen display is the primary screen; the printer is the always-on backup. An independent print listener keeps tickets flowing even if a screen sleeps, locks, or loses power.
No missed ticket. No lost order.
Shift changes, screen reboots, and forgotten taps are where orders fall through. The print listener runs independently of the display, so a ticket always lands on paper โ even when the screen is dark.
Screen and printer back each other up. If one path hiccups, the other keeps service moving โ no scramble, no lost order.
Standard ESC/POS hardware, configured once. No proprietary drivers, no special workstation โ just a printer the kitchen can rely on.
One printer, buy or lease.

Kitchen printer questions, answered.
What kind of printer do I need?
Any ESC/POS-compatible thermal receipt or kitchen printer works. We supply a tested model that connects over Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth, or you can bring a compatible printer you already own.
Do I still need the printer if I have a kitchen display?
The kitchen display is the primary surface. The printer is an always-on backup: an independent print listener keeps tickets printing through shift changes, screen reboots, or power blips, so an order never slips because a screen was asleep.
Can I send different items to different printers?
Yes. Station routing lets you send hot-line, cold-station, bar, and expo items to their own printers, so each section only prints what it needs to prepare.
