Toast POS pricing in Canada (2026)

Toast pricing at a glance

We could not verify a Toast price list: its pricing page (pos.toasttab.com/pricing) and its Canadian pages returned HTTP 403 to our automated check on September 19, 2026, so nothing could be read from the page itself. Toast pricing is quote-based, in USD. We do not invent a figure where a vendor prints none, so the only honest monthly number for Toast in Canada is "quote-based."

Search-engine snippets of Toast's Canadian pages reference a "Starter Kit … starting at $120 per month" line. We could not confirm that on the page and therefore do not rely on it. Toast bundles its own payment processing, so the monthly figure you are quoted depends on the processing agreement as much as on the software.

Toast plans and monthly prices

What is and isn't included

With a quote-based vendor, the useful work is knowing which lines to ask about. Here is what Toast's public pages do and do not establish.

• Kitchen display: not verifiable — quote-based. Ask whether kitchen display screens carry their own monthly software fee and how many are included.
• Card processing: not published. Toast bundles its own payment processing; rates are set per quote, so ask for the all-in effective rate in writing.
• Hardware: pricing depends on the quote; nothing is printed.
• Extra terminals: not verifiable — quote-based. Ask whether pricing is per location or per device.
• Setup fees and contract length: not printed on the pricing page. Ask for both, and for the early-termination terms, in writing.

Who Toast fits

Toast fits restaurants that want a single vendor for POS, payments and hardware and are willing to negotiate a bundled quote; it is strongest for US-style full-service and multi-unit operators.

Two caveats to budget for: pricing is quote-based, so the monthly figure depends on the processing agreement; and the vendor publishes in USD, so a Canadian invoice moves with the exchange rate unless your quote says otherwise.
